Summer is coming and we have revamped the schedule with all kinds of unique, new classesdevote more time to yourselves but that you never follow through. Feel good and look great all year when you find something that you enjoy doing with people you love doing them with. Pole dance, exotic dance and belly dance are great ways to exercise and burn fat. So is aerobic activity, Pilates, isometric training, and weight training. Now, what if we combined them all into one class? Holy Crap! That's a workout! And because we are actually DANCERS at Pussycats®, we can teach a variety of fun and crazy classes that will have you burning fat and calories in an instant. Here is what we have for you to drop in on anytime - no pre-registration necessary for any and all of these classes (except M.Y.L.F® WORKSHOP, pole classes and performance workshops).

 

Drop in classes are $15 (longer classes & specialty classes may be more) and you can pay as you go or you can purchase a package of 10 classes for $120.

Package of 10 Classes:

Class packages are good for 6 months from the date of purchase and are good for ANY of the drop in classes on the schedule. This includes NON-POLE DANCE classes that are indicated with a (D) on the calendar.

This class is my secret weapon in the arsenal of tight arses!

 

These exercises are not going to be easy but with the right amount of effort on your part, you can actually LIFT your butt to have the firmer, more rounded shape! While we are at it, we'll be sculpting your legs & thighs and slimming down that waistline. I use glute specific Pilates exercises and different kinds of Brazilian dancing to achieve the best booty possible!

 

Each week we will be doing different exercises to beat bordem and to ensure that your muscles do not become accustomed to the activity.

Reggae dance.

What is it? It's hot. It's fun. It's a really good thigh burner!

Most people think of Bob Marley when they hear "reggae" and while Bob is a reggae icon, that is not the type of reggae we dance to. Bob was "roots reggae"....we are getting our dancehall on! We learn the hottest new reggae dance moves to the latest dancehall reggae and reggaeton. This class is usually PACKED so come about 5 min early to secure a spot.

THE ULTIMATE GLUTE & AB WORKOUT- $15 - NO REGISTRATION REQUIRED!

There is one important truth about the glutes that will greatly increase your ability to get a tight derriere. This truth is that the glutes run a close second to the stomach/waistline for collecting fat deposits. Now that you know this....lets get to work!

 

This class is POWER packed with exercises to lift, tighten, firm and shape your backside. We include sculpting exercises to shape and lift, cardio and plyometrics to burn fat, and body resistance exercises to firm and tighten. We also use some standing Pilates work so that the core in getting it's fair share of attention. This class is followed by the Brazilian Butt Blast so if you do them back to back.....this makes for the most radical lower body workout ever!

Holy bejezzus!!! I have gone insane. I can hear all the uptight ladies of America lamenting "Ugh! A class on how to make your butt shake and bounce....GROSS!"

Not really! I do a lot of "glute work" in my shows and I am constantly asked "How do you DO that?!?!? Can you teach me?" So after all the begging and pleading for a class to learn how to pop, shake, rattle, and bounce your derriere, I have decided to give it a shot. It's a lot of fun, it's a fantastic workout and glute control is one of the baddest skills you will ever acquire! (just ask your man) It's all about isolation to really make it look amazing and I'll give you all the exercises and techniques you need to prepare your ass for bouncing so you can be the freak show you so desperately want to be.

Belly Dance Classes Scottsdale Myryka Nunya

Belly Dance for Cardio & Technique - $15 - NO REGISTRATION REQUIRED!

YOU CAN LEARN TO DO THIS!! Belly dance IS the ultimate core training. Belly dancers are known for their muscle control and elegance. We cover isolation drills, shimmies, and tons of upper & lower body conditoning. Hip isolations tone and sculpt thighs and it qualifies as weight bearing exerise so it helps build strong bones. Belly dance (the Arabic word is "raks sharki") can burn up to 300 calories per hour. Learn belly dance movements like hip rolls, figure-eights, snake arms, and undulations. This class is taught by master instructor and 2006 Belly Dancer of the Universe, Myryka Nunya.

 

BENEFITS OF BELLY DANCE:

-Alleviate congestion in the pelvic area and ease PMS symptoms.

-Increase bone density. Belly dance qualifies as weight bearing activity.

The lost art of exotic floorwork. That is what's missing from the world of pole dancing nowadays. It used to be that it required a special talent to roll on the floor sexy enough to make grown men get out of their chairs and come tip you. Now everyone seems too good to get down and dirty. Not us! Keepin' it real is our promise!

 

A graceful floor routine can be the thing that makes you a TON of money on stage or gives you a well deserved rest from pole tricks, or is your saving grace if there is no pole at your club.

 

However, if you are not planning to perform your floor-frolicking then you can just benefit from the amazing core workout and the freeing sensation of winding, twisting and rolling around. FLOOR CATS & SLINKY CATS classes are non-pole dance exotic movements that builds core strength, improves sensual movement and adds a new dimension to your pole dance. It is also perfect for those who do not want to do pole dance or who are new to the exotic style of dance.

 

In addition to exotic floorwork, we also do Pilates mat work and Martha Graham-style

conditioning exercises for flexibilty & strength. Being on the floor has never been so challenging!

Chair dance is an amazing workout for your entire body. A sensual warm up prepares you for a full routine that you can take home to show your loved one or to take to stage to earn some paper! Fun and playful, you'll see why so many people beg for this class. I also include some killer Pilates.

 

We have 12 chairs at the studio...show up early or bring your own to make sure you are not left with a place to get your grind on! The chairs we use are simple, yet sturdy, fold-up chairs.

Pink FItness Pole Dance Fitness Classes

THE POLE DROP IN CLASS- $25

This class is more than just a phenomenal work out with cardio, pole dance conditioning exercises, negative resistance exercises and hard-core strengthening exercises. Perfect compliment to your pole dance workshops or for those who just want a really intense workout that is different from the weights and classes at the gym. This class will give you the exercises, the knowledge, and the encouragement to get the body, the strength and the workout you desire!

 

Beginners welcome and encouraged. NO dance experience needed. This is a pole conditioning class and we will be dancing on the pole however - tricks and transitions will NOT be taught in this class.
