EXOTIC DANCE CLASSES

 

It's a new year and I know how you all make new resolutions to get in shape and devote more time to youselves but that you never follow through. Feel good and look great all year when you find something that you enjoy doing with people you love doing them with. Pole dance, exotic dance and belly dance are great ways to exercise and burn fat. So is aerobic activity, Pilates, isometric training, and weight training. Now, what if we combined them all into one class? Holy Crap! That's a workout! And because we are actually DANCERS at Pussycats®, we can teach a variety of fun and crazy classes that will have you burning fat and calories in an instant. Here is what we have for you to drop in on anytime - no pre-registration necessary for any and all of these classes (except M.Y.L.F® WORKSHOP and performance workshops). They are ongoing and open until further notice.

 

Drop in classes are $15 (90 minute classes are $20) and you can pay as you go or you can purchase a package of 10 classes for $120.

Package of 10 Classes:

Class packages are good for 6 months from the date of purchase and are good for ANY of the drop in classes on the schedule. This includes YOGA,SPIN, and DANCE classes that are indicated with a (D) on the calendar.

Learn all the hottest "booty" moves that you see in videos, clubs, Junkanoo, Carnival, Dancehall Queen competitions. It's reggae dancing, reggae dancehall, ragga, dutty wine, duppy wine, call it whatever....This class is NOT for those who are afraid of burning thighs. Heavy with exotic dance, glute exercises, sexy hip hop, Reggaeton, Afro-Carribean and Afro-Brazilian dance and 'nuff reggae rhythms to get you windin' and grindin'. Basically, it's a reggae dancehall dance class....if you know what that is. YOU CAN LEARN TO DO THIS!!. Beginners welcome and encouraged. NO dance experience needed. Athletic shoes required for this class. Bring water....lots.

Bring YOUR OWN physio ball, mat and a towel - we do not provide balls or mats.

We groove. We move. We bounce. We grind. We work our abs and our behinds!

 

Hee hee!!! It's true! The physio ball (or Swiss ball) is a fantastic tool for sculpting your body and toning your muscles. It forces you to use your core in ways you cannot imagine. If you have never used a physio ball before, don't worry, I'll start off with basics. It takes a little bit of time before you really get used to it but that is how you gauge your progress. There is NO way to cheat your exercises with the ball so you have to focus on balance and proper technique.

 

Feel like your hips are tight and your movements are choppy? This class will ameliorate all those stiff movements and have you slinking and melting all over the place while you traing your midsection at the same time.

 

Bring your own physio ball, mat and a towel. Exercise balls are very inexpensive and can be found at Target, Walmart, sports stores, even TJ Maxx has them sometimes. They run about $12-25 and you can practice at home.

Holy bejezzus!!! I have gone insane. I can hear all the uptight ladies of America lamenting "Ugh! A class on how to make your butt shake and bounce....GROSS!"

Not really! I do a lot of "glute work" in my shows and I am constantly asked "How do you DO that?!?!? Can you teach me?" So after all the begging and pleading for a class to learn how to pop, shake, rattle, and bounce your derriere, I have decided to give it a shot. It's a lot of fun, it's a fantastic workout and glute control is one of the baddest skills you will ever acquire! (just ask your man) It's all about isolation to really make it look amazing and I'll give you all the exercises and techniques you need to prepare your ass for bouncing so you can be the freakshow you so desperately want to be.

POLE STRENGTH & CONDITIONING - $25

 

This class is more than just a phenominal work out with cardio, pole dance conditioning exercises, negative resistance exercises and hard-core strengthening exercises. Perfect compliment to your pole dance workshops or for those who just want a really intense workout that is different from the weights and classes at the gym. This class will give you the exercises, the knowledge, and the encouragement to get the body, the strength and the workoutyou desire!

Beginners welcome and encouraged. NO dance experience needed. This IS a pole conditioning class and we will be dancing on the pole however - tricks and transitions will NOT be taught in this class.

Summer may be almost over but I know you still want to look your best and have a firm, tight, lifted backside.

This class is my secret weapon in the arsenal of tight arses!

 

For real! These exercises are not going to be easy but with the right amount of effort on your part, you can actually LIFT your butt to have the firmer, more rounded shape! While we are at it, we'll be sculptint your abds and slimming down that waistline. Bring your bikini if you want for motivation but be sure to wear comfortable workout clothes for class.

 

Bring a yoga mat, athletic shoes and a bottle of water.

LATIN LEGS & ABS - $15

 

I've brought back the Cardio salsa but have thrown in a few "extras" to make it an even tougher workout. Latin dance is fabulous for toning up your mid-section....IF you are doing it right. Most instructors don't really know HOW to teach you to do this. I do, and this is why my abs are shredded and why I am able to show YOU how! Muscle definition is achieved by a combination of toning muscle and burning fat. This class brings kickboxing kicks to build the legs and boost cardio, Latin dance movement to whittle the waist, burn fat and make it fun, and ab exercises to sculpt your six pack. This Beginners welcome and encouraged. NO dance experience needed. Bring a jazz dance shoe or cross training shoe for this class. This is a non-pole class.
