Devote more time to yourself and lose weight faster by following through with your fitness goals. Feel good and look great all year when you find something that you enjoy doing with people you love doing it with. Pole dance, exotic dance and belly dance are great ways to exercise and burn fat. So is aerobic activity, Pilates, isometric training, and weight training. Pussycats® Dance Fitness offers a variety of fun and crazy classes that will have you burning fat and calories in an instant.

 

We recommend attending these class at least 5 times before you give up....nothing happens overnight and it may take some time for your body to feel comfortable with your new movement. It is normal to feel "awkward" in the beginning....dont get discouraged! You will get out of it what you put INTO it! Practice, stay committed and you WILL see improvement!

 

Here is what we have for you to drop in on anytime - no pre-registration necessary for any and all of these classes (except M.Y.L.F® WORKSHOP, pole classes and performance workshops).

 

Single Drop-in Class: $15

Class packages are good for 6 months from the date of purchase and are good for ANY of the drop in classes on the schedule. This package is NOT applicable to classes that require advanced registration, ANY 6 week session or specialty workshops.

The lost art of exotic floorwork.

 

A graceful floor routine can be the thing that makes you a TON of money on stage or gives you a well deserved rest from pole tricks, or is your saving grace if there is no pole at your club (ori n your budoir!)

 

However, if you are not planning to perform your floor-frolicking, then you can just benefit from the amazing core workout and the freeing sensation of winding, twisting and rolling around. FLOOR CATS & SLINKY CATS classes are non-pole dance exotic movements that builds core strength, improves sensual movement and adds a new dimension to your pole dance. It is also perfect for those who do not want to do pole dance or who are new to the exotic style of dance.

 

In addition to exotic floorwork, we also do Pilates mat work and Martha Graham-style

conditioning exercises for flexibilty & strength.

This class was designed for those students who are enrolled in a 6 week session and would like another opportunity to practice, strengthen and tighten up your technique. It is also used to students to "make up" a class from a 6 week session. You do NOT have to be enrolled in a 6 week session to come practice and play, but please note that we will not be using this class to teach tricks to new students. This class will be lead by an instructor and we will be available for questions, spotting, and offering feedback.

 

A different drop in pole class each week.
1st week - Spins & combos
2nd week - Practice climbs & variations on climbs
3rd week - Inversions, variations, & modifications
4th week - Original, new choreography
5th week - Choreography

It increases circulation, helps release toxins, alleviates back pain and headaches, relieves stress and tension, promotes more restful sleep, as well as improves overall flexibility. When combined with breathing exercises, DNA-activating Solfeggio frequencies and meditation, it can also be the BEST anti-aging tool we have. Regular practice will give your body the refreshed feeling of youth and even help to restore that supple, soft appearance in your skin. Serious.

YOU CAN LEARN TO DO THIS!! Belly dance IS the ultimate core training. Belly dancers are known for their muscle control and elegance. We cover isolation drills, shimmies, and tons of upper & lower body conditoning. Hip isolations tone and sculpt thighs and it qualifies as weight bearing exerise so it helps build strong bones. Foot patterns and traveling combinations take the intensity up a notch for some nice cardio. Belly dance (the Arabic word is "raks sharki") can burn up to 300 calories per hour. Learn belly dance movements like hip rolls, figure-eights, snake arms, and undulations. This class is taught by master instructor and 2006 Belly Dancer of the Universe, Myryka Nunya.

Pop, shake, rattle, and bounce your derriere! It's a really fun way to get a intense glute and thigh workout and glute control is one of the baddest skills you will ever acquire! (just ask your man) It's all about proper muscular isolation. Alleviate back pain, build a better booty and develop awesome muscle tone in your legs while you learn to shake what yo' mama gave ya!

 

Students will learn isolation techniques required to increase control and flexibility in your pelvis and hips while becoming aware of how to use the lower abs and deeper, instrinsic muscles to make sharp locks and pops. Chair dance is an amazing workout for your entire body and Neo-Burlesque Fusion means that we have a wide range of dance styles to mix, mingle, and contort. A sensual warm up prepares you for a full routine that you can take home to show your loved one or to take to stage to earn some paper! Fun and playful, you'll see why so many people beg for this class. I also include some killer Pilates exercises after our warm up for a complete workout! Pink FItness Pole Dance Fitness Classes

THE POLE STRENGTH & CONDITIONING CLASS- $15

This class is more than just a phenomenal work out with cardio, core conditioning exercises, negative resistance exercises, plyometrics and hard-core Pilates exercises. Perfect compliment to your pole dance workshops or for those who just want a really intense workout that is different from the weights and classes at the gym. This class will give you the exercises, the knowledge, and the encouragement to get the body, the strength and the workout you desire!

 

Beginners welcome and encouraged. NO dance experience needed. This is a pole conditioning class and we will be doing exercises to strengthen the core, upper body, cardio endurance and flexibility trough a myriad of different approaches including the pole however - tricks and transitions will NOT be taught in this class.
