I have personally known Nikki for a long, long time and she first showed signs of an awesome instructor at one of my shows. I asked her if she'd be interested in training to become a teacher. It's hard work to complete Pole Cat Power training but she was up to the challenge and has been a wonderful asset to our team.

Nikki Black has been a part of the health and nutrition world for years. Her background is in personal training, weight training and nutrition. After working as a health and nutrition counselor for a model and booking agency for 6 years, she decided to continue her affinity for helping others by becoming a certified trainer. Training at commercial gyms and taking on personal clients, she realized the monotony of a regular work outs could kill the desire to train. Nikki was later trained by myself (NYLA) and the founder of Pole Cat Power and has been instructing ever since.

She brings not only her knowledge as a fitness professional, but also her intuitive understanding of emotion and the mind-body connection. As we move into the new millenium with a desire to understand how the mind and body coincide, her skills as a life coach and mentor will be invaluable to her work as an instructor.
